The Access to Information Act, 2018 has as objectives to foster good governance through enhancing transparency, accountability, integrity in public service and administration, participation of persons in public affairs including exposing corruption, to recognise the right of access to information envisaged in Article 28 of the Constitution and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7(1) of the Access to Information Act, 2018 (Act 4 of 2018), the Office of the Minister designates Ms. Lindy Vital as the Information Officer for the Ministry of Finance, National Planning and Trade.
