A workshop attended by various MDA’s was organized by the External Finance Management Unit on 4th December 2024 as an introductory session on the AID Management Information System (AIMS) software.
The objective of the system is to strengthen the Government’s aid management function in order to enhance transparency and accountability in management of public resources.
The full roll out of AIMS in all MDAs is expected to be next year.
The session also served as an introduction on the role and mandate of the External Finance Management Unit.
