Launching of Vision 2033
July 30, 2019
Monday 29th July 2019, VICTORIA, SEYCHELLES: Vision 2033 and the first National Development Strategy (NDS) 2019-2023 for Seychelles will be launched on Monday 5th August at 9.00 a.m, at the International Conference Centre.
The launching will be presided over by the President of the Republic of Seychelles, Danny Faure, and attended by a number of high government officials and dignitaries.
Vision 2033 sets forth the kind of path we want for Seychelles.
In October 2017 the Department of Economic Planning embarked on a consultation process conducting visioning exercises with various sector groupings, involving a wide range of stakeholders, from different sections of society.
This was with the aim of drafting a long term vision and National Development Strategy 2019-2032 for the country.
The media is invited; it is imperative that members of the press arrive on time for the ceremony and setting up of equipment should be done as early as possible. To ensure that this process runs smoothly, we are conducting a rehearsal for concerned parties on Friday 2nd August, at the ICCS.
Also kindly be informed that a dedicated audio output for the recording of sounds will be provided for the media houses; you are advised to liaise with the technicians upon arrival at the ICCS.
Necessary arrangements have also been made for additional interviews should you wish to.
