Senior advisors from the African Development Bank on study tour in Seychelles

Twelve Senior Advisors from the African Development Bank are currently in Seychelles on a one week study tour.
The purpose of the tour is to help the Advisors get acquainted with the African Development Bank operations in the Regional Member Countries (RMCs) and obtain a better understanding of the development challenges as well as take stock of the implementation of ADB funded projects.
The visit will also provide the opportunity to get a better insight in the relevance and practical implications of policy themes that are of particular interest to ADB, such as regional integration, climate change, how to boost inclusive growth, youth employment and the importance of the private sector.
During their visit in Seychelles the Advisors are meeting with government officials and stakeholders including the Minister for Finance, Trade and the Blue Economy Mr. Jean Paul Adam, Governor of the Central Bank Ms Caroline Abel, the Civil Society, the European Union representatives in Seychelles as well the Seychelles Chamber of Commerce.
