National Assembly approves budgets of the Ministry and all entities under its purview

The Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Trade and all government entities falling under its purview have had their allocated budgets for the year 2021 approved by the National Assembly this week.
Minister Naadir Hassan and his delegation started defending the budget of his ministry and the different entities under its aegis on the afternoon of Wednesday 07th April.
Department of Finance - R120,150 million
Department of Economic Planning - R3,134 million
Department of Trade - R141, 825 million
Consolidated Budget of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Trade - R265, 117 million
Seychelles Licensing Authority (SLA) - R16,309 million
National Tender Board - R3,599 million
Public Enterprise Monitoring Commission (PEMC) - R8,170 million
Seychelles Revenue Commission (SRC) - R139,692 million
Fair Trading Commission (FTC) - R14,055 million
Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) - R19,199 million
The following tree entities had their budgets approved though MNAs elected not have any debate;
Tax and Customs Agent Board - R1,375 million
Government Audit Committee - R810,000
National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) - R24,363 million
The last vote took place late on Friday 09th April.
