The International Monetary Fund to hold Press Conference

Friday 31st March 2017, VICTORIA, SEYCHELLES: The International Monetary Fund, IMF, is inviting members of the media to a press conferenceit is hosting with the Ministry of Finance, Trade and Economic Planning and Central Bank of Seychelles on its working mission to Seychelles. This is to conduct discussions on the sixth review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) and Article IV Consultations.
The last IMF mission was in Seychelles from the 19th October -1st November 2016, to conduct discussions on the fourth/fifth review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF).
“Article IV Consultations,” is the process whereby the IMF visits member countries to exchange views with the government, the central bank and other stakeholders to help evaluate the country’s economic policies and outlook.
The press conference will be held on Tuesday 04th April at 14:15hrs in the Board room of the Central Bank of Seychelles.
