FA4JR scheme limited to electronic applications only due to Public Health restrictions

Following the announcement on Tuesday 7 April by the Public Health Commissioner that there will be more severe limitations on the movement of people due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Seychelles, operations in a number of the departments within the Ministry of Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning will be affected.

Members of the public are advised that all programmes involving direct interaction with the public will no longer go ahead, including some services for business owners applying for the Financial Assistance for Job Retention (FA4JR) scheme. All FA4JR-related services at Liberty House and District Administration offices will be closed to the public from Wednesday 8 April.

With immediate effect, the following FA4JR services will be put on hold until further notice:

-          Provision of physical forms for applicants at Liberty House and District Administration offices

-          Submission of hard-copy (physical) documents at Liberty House and District Administration offices

-          Provision of face-to-face advice and assistance to applicants

Please note that signed and scanned application forms and documents can still be submitted via email to fa4jr@finance.gov.sc. For more information regarding the application process, please visit our website on http://www.finance.gov.sc/financial-schemes, or call the hotline on 2 82 82 62.
