Contributions from businesses from Praslin and La Digue are considered very important to the budget planning process

Some thirty (30) representatives from the business community on Praslin will be giving their input on the national budget for 2016 as part of the budget planning process, initiated by the Ministry of Finance, Trade & the Blue Economy, early this year.

The Minister for Finance, Trade & the Blue Economy, Jean Paul Adam, and other senior representatives will meet with the different representatives on Friday 30th October 2015 at 10.00 a.m, in the Pension Fund Meeting Room, Grand Anse Praslin.

After the meeting, Minister Adam will also visit some of the businesses on Praslin.

This consultative meeting is part of a series of other meetings with stakeholders of the different sectors of the economy in view of reaching a consensus on major policy orientation for incorporation in the forthcoming budget.
