Investors Meeting to discuss different financing opportunities for Seychellois individuals and companies

Friday 5th July 2019, VICTORIA, SEYCHELLES: An investors meeting to present and engage in one on one discussion on the different financing opportunities available to Seychellois individuals/ companies interested in investing in transitional sustainable fisheries and research will take place on the 10th of July at the Savoy Resort & Spa as from 8.30 am until 11.30am.
This is in line with efforts to promote business expansion, and it is being organized bythe Seychelles Investment Board (SIB) in partnership with SEYCCAT, SWIOFISH and DBS.
The main aim is to present an innovative financing opportunity to drive investments/re-investments either directly by using the financing options or for use of schemes such as the SEED capital for existing business transformation into sustainability.
And equally to show a coordinated government strategy in promoting investments, providing innovative financing solutions and facilitate the ‘ease of doing business’ to the private sectors.
The meeting will include presentations on the Blue Finance by SWIOFISH, the blue investment fund by DBS, the blue grant fund by SEYCATT and SIB on the new business opportunities within the blue economy sector.
Secretary of State for Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning, Patrick Payet will open the investors meeting.
SS Payet recently won the 2019 Best Sustainable Finance Solution Award given for the first time at the Adam Smith awards gala presentation in London.
