The International Monetary Fund due in the country for second Policy Coordination Instrument

Tuesday 18th September 2018, VICTORIA, SEYCHELLES: The International Monetary Fund, IMF, is inviting members of the media to a press conference at the conclusion of their mission, here. The IMF delegation is due in the country tomorrow, Wednesday 19th September till Tuesday 02nd October.
The mission is the second review under the new program Policy Coordination Instrument, PCI, which looks at the December 2017 targets and also future economic development of the country.
The IMF Executive Board approved the Three-Year Policy Coordination Instrument (PCI) for Seychelles on December 13, 2017. It is to be noted that Seychelles is the first IMF member country to have requested a PCI.
The press conference will be held on 02nd October at 14:00hrs-15:00hrs at the CBS’ Conference Room.
