Visit of Finance Minister and senior officers to banks

Friday 13th July 2018, VICTORIA, SEYCHELLES: Finance Minister, Maurice Loustau-Lalanne will be visiting several banks on Tuesday 17th July, 2018, his first visit to the Banks, and the Central Bank Seychelles, since taking office as the Minister for Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning.
The Minister’s visit will also involve keeping abreast of new developments, follow up on previous discussions on banks’ involvement in financing productive sectors, such as fisheries and agriculture, small manufactures, and Small Medium Enterprises, as well as the need for banks and financial institutions to come up with more innovative financial products and services on the market.
Minister Lalanne will also be visiting the Seychelles Revenue Commission, SRC, on Thursday 19th July 2018, from 9.00a.m. We will keep you informed on where the visit will start.
The Ministry’s delegation will comprise of the Secretary of State, Patrick Payet, the Banker’s Association CEO, Mr. Weber and other senior officers from the Ministry.
