Second batch of sectors in the country meets to draft sectorial strategies for Vision 2032

The second round of discussions for Vision 2032, started this morning at the International Conference Centre and will go on until tomorrow 10th October.The two-day plenary discussions is comprised of representatives from the Housing & Infrastructure,Tourism, Agriculture, Fisheries,Transport, Governance and Environment.

Representatives from the various sectors will discuss ideas and or proposals for the drafting of sectorial strategies for Vision 2032 and the National Development Strategy 2018-2022; a framework for Sustainable National Development, (NDS).

The Department of Economic Planning in the Ministry of Finance, Trade and Economic Planning has been given the responsibility and mandate to coordinate the process of the Visioning Exercise for Vision 2032, inclusive of a stakeholders’ analysis, mapping of sustainable development processes and strategies in Seychelles.
