Budget 2023 - Mid-Year Review

The Ministry of Finance, National Planning and Trade has presented the Mid-Year Review for the 2023 Budget, before the National Assembly, this afternoon.
Based on the performance of the first six months and analysis going forward, the Government has proposed a total budget cut of SR 621,370,992.77.
At the same time, the Government is proposing a Supplementary Budget of SR 275,506,848.63, which will be re-allocated to government entities.
This means, the 2023 budget will be reduced by SR345,864,144.14.
This afternoon, Vice President Ahmed Afif presented the opening statement, on behalf of Minister Naadir Hassan.
