THIRD SOUTH WEST INDIAN OCEAN FISHERIES GOVERNANCE AND SHARED GROWTH PROJECT (SWIOFish3)

The Government of Seychelles is preparing the Third South West Indian Ocean Fisheries Governance and Shared Growth Project (SWIOFish3). SWIOFish3 aims to improve management of fisheries and marine ecosystems while strengthening fisheries value chains. SWIOFish3 will support country-level blue economy investments in Seychelles over 6 years and is expected to become effective around September 2017.
The Ministry of Finance, Trade and Economic Planning is disclosing the Environmental and Social Management Framework and the Process Framework in preparation for SWIOFish3. The two documents outline how any environment and socioeconomic impacts arising from project activities are to be addressed.
