Temporary Government Measures to support lower income earners - closure of registration for July and August Payment

The deadline for registration by private sector employees earning a gross salary not exceeding R9,000 per month and all those registering for the additional electricity support, for payments for the months of July and August is today.
The registration process is under the 'Temporary Government Measures to support lower income earners', programme.
The registration exercise for the two months (July & August), will be closed, in view of the verification process, in order to enable payment at the end of this month.
To note, successful applicants will receive a July 'back pay' and the August payment. This include, both salary and electricity support.
All new registrations, as of next week, will be verified for the September payment.
Registration at the District Administration's Office is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only.
