Registration under the 'Temporary Government Measures to support the Lower Income Earners', programme, will start on 25th July, for private sector employees, as well as those who will be needing support to pay their electricity bills.
Speaking to the media this afternoon, the Ministry of Finance, National Planning and Trade, has advised those who qualify under the programme, to use the time, between now and the 25th of July, to put all their documents in order.
The Temporary support is targeting those, whose income does not exceed R9,000 monthly: i.e: basic salary and fixed allowance.
Further information will be provided closer to the date of registration.
