IMF to provide details of visit under the sixth review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) and Article IV Consultations

The International Monetary Fund, IMF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, Trade and Economic Planning and the Central bank of Seychelles is hosting a Press Conference on its working mission to Seychelles. The aim is to conduct discussions on the sixth review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) and Article IV Consultations.
“Article IV Consultations,” is the process whereby the IMF visits member countries to exchange views with the government, the central bank and other stakeholders to help evaluate the country’s economic policies and outlook.
The last IMF mission was in Seychelles from the 19th October -1st November 2016, to conduct discussions on the fourth/fifth review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF).
The press conference will be held on Tuesday 04th April at 14:15hrs in the Board room of the Central Bank of Seychelles.
