Investigation Report - Sale of Seychelles Pride

The Public Entreprise Monitoring Commission (PEMC) has presented its final report, following an investigation into the procedure of the disposal and sale of the tanker, Seychelles Pride.
The investigation was ordered on 18th January, 2022, by the Minister for Finance, Economic Planning and Trade, Naadir Hassan, after it came to light that the State owned Enterprise, Seychelles Petroleum Company (SEYPEC), had sold the Seychelles Pride, without officially informing the government.
Minister Hassan mandated the PEMC to conduct the investigation.
