SIs to amend rates of Business Tax are published

The new business tax rates as per the amendments to the Business Tax Act, 2009, have come into effect as of 1^st January 2022.

On 31^st December 2021, the Statutory Instruments (S.Is), pertaining to the various amendments were published in the Official Gazette.

1.    Business Tax (Exemption of Tax to Farming Partnerships and Farming Entities) Order, 2021. (S.I. 106 of 2021)
2.    Business Tax (Exemption of Tax to Individual Fishers and Individual Farmers) Order, 2021. (S.I. 107 of 2021)
3.    Business Tax (Amendment of Schedules) Regulations, 2021. (S.I. 108 of 2021)
