Deadline for payment of Immovable Property Tax looms

The deadline for payment of the Immovable Property Tax assessment effected in the year 2021, is 31st December 2021.
The Seychelles Revenue Commission (SRC), has issued a notice to all those eligible for this tax payment.
SRC has pointed out that failure to meet the deadline for payment will result in penalties.
The Immovable Property Tax, 2019, came into effect in January 2020.
Under the law, all non-Seychellois who own an Immovable Property for residential purpose, shall pay 0.25% tax of the market value of the property.
