Beneficial Ownership Act Provisions for domestic companies, partnerships and associations made easy

The Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Trade has published a FAQ sheet, simplifying the provisions of the Beneficial Ownership Act, which domestic companies, partnerships and associations have to comply with.
The entities have until 31st January 2022 to comply with the provisions of the law.
A secured digital platform managed by the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) will come online on 1st November 2021 for the beneficial owners registers to be inputted.
