Private sector salary assistance scheme now open for applications

On Sunday 29th March 2020 the Financial Assistance for Job Retention (FA4JR) Committee held a live press conference with the media to outline the procedure for private sector businesses and NGOs who have been affected negatively by the COVID-19 pandemic to apply for assistance with salaries. The financial scheme, which is now open for applications, will also be available for self-employed individuals who require financial assistance to keep themselves afloat.
The press conference was led by the Committee Chairperson, Secretary of State for Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning, Patrick Payet, and the Chairperson of the Seychelles Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Oliver Bastienne.
