Loans management operations of the Seychelles Business Financing Agency to move under the Development Bank of Seychelles

All loans management operations of the Seychelles Business Financing Agency (SBFA) will be taken over by the Development Bank of Seychelles (DBS), as of the 1st February 2019.
Loans previously under the SBFA portfolio, that was being issued to help small businesses by providing financial assistance through concessionary loans to promote the competitive viability of such businesses in the market, will now be referred to as the “Small and Medium Business Development Fund (SMEDF)” under the DBS.
The offices will still be located at Unity House, Block B on the 2nd floor, with same contact number 4389800.
However, services will still be limited to repayment of loans and release of pledge documents upon repayment of loans for existing clients.
During this transition period, no new loan facilities will be made available until 1st May 2019.
