First Meeting of entities of Ministry of Finance, Trade Investment & Economic Planning

A first meeting will be held with all Chief Executive Officers and heads of all Agencies falling under the purview of the Ministry of Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning on Wednesday 16th May 2018. The meeting will take place at Liberty House at 1.30 p.m and will be chaired by Minister Maurice Loustau-Lalanne.
The aim of the meeting is to improve and formalize networking and collaboration between the Ministry and its entities and vice-versa, as well as provide updates on the implementation of the 2018 budget and preparation of the 2019 budget. The idea is to improve accountability, transparency among the Ministry and its entities.
There will also be discussions on the communication/reporting line between the Ministry and its entities, as well as with other partners, clients and stakeholders to improve service delivery and encourage participation of all concerned.
The media is invited to attend the meeting and interviews can also be with the new Minister for Finance, Trade Investment and Economic Planning and the new Secretary of State.
