| ED World Bank Visits Seychelles |
|
Seychelles newly appointed Executive Director of the World Bank, Dr Toga Gayewea McIntosh, aims to more adequately represent Seychelles on the boards of the World Bank Group. In order to achieve this, the ED will be on a familiarization visit to Seychelles at the end of the month accompanied by his advisor Peter Larose. During his visit Dr McIntosh will call on President James Michel, Vice-President Belmont, Finance Minister Faure along with the Governor of the Central Bank of Seychelles and Foreign Affairs Minister Pillay. He will also be on familiarization visits to other African countries as Dr McIntosh also serves as the ED representing Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Eritrea, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. |
