| Trade in Services Workshop |

The Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with TRADECOM, is hosting a one-day workshop on Trade in Services, May 22 at the 'Maison de Football' from 9am to 4pm.
Dr Dietrich Barth, a consultant from TRADECOM, has been reviewing our existing laws which affect all services sectors. This workshop will be used as an opportunity to present his findings to regulators with a view of highlighting areas of unconformity with international best practices and recommending possible amendments that the Seychelles Government may wish to consider to bring its laws on par with the requirements of the World Trade Organisation. This workshop will be an opportunity for discussions among regulators on the future development of the service sectors and how transparent and predictable regulations can assist in achieving a framework that will allow for expansion of the services industries in Seychelles. |
