The Postal Services Division of the Ministry of Finance provides domestic and international postal services in accordance with the Post Office Act and Universal Postal Convention. Its mission is to contribute to the accomplishment of the mission of the Universal Postal Union, of which Seychelles is an active member, in developing social, cultural and commercial communications between all peoples throughout the single postal territory by the efficient operation of postal services as described in the Acts of the Union.

The Post Office has its Headquarters at the Liberty House which is situated at the centre of Victoria near the clock tower.This is actually the only Post Office of exchange in Seychelles where mails are sent and received from overseas postal administrations. Postal Services in Seychelles are also extended through the following sub-post offices.

The Seychelles Post Office is responsible for providing domestic and international postal services at universal standards. The services provided include:

• Counter Service including sales of phonecards, parking coupons and other stationeries

Central Post Office – Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm and Saturday 8am – 12pm

Parcel Unit – Monday to Friday 8am to 1pm and then 2pm to 3.30pm

Sub Post Offices – Monday to Friday 8am – 12pm and then 1pm – 4pm
